Short answer
To start well, an agency needs one business goal with a number, access to your website, analytics and ad accounts, your brand files and product information, one decision-maker for approvals, and a weekly slot for review. Missing access and slow approvals are the two things that delay almost every project.
The onboarding checklist
Have these ready and the first two weeks are build time instead of chase time.
- -The goal, the target number and the deadline.
- -Admin access to website hosting, domain, analytics, search console and ad accounts.
- -Logos, fonts, product photography, existing copy and any brand guidelines.
- -Product or service list with prices, margins and bestsellers.
- -One named approver, plus who else must be consulted.
- -A recurring weekly review slot and a shared channel for questions.
How KritSite runs the first two weeks
Week one is a strategy call, access setup, an audit of what exists and a written scope with the metric we will be judged on. Week two is structure: sitemap and narrative for a website, or account structure and creative plan for media. You see work in progress, not a reveal at the end.
In short
- 01Access and approvals are the usual bottleneck.
- 02One named approver keeps the timeline honest.
- 03Weekly reviews prevent end-of-project surprises.
